I’m fairly new to the riding, but I’m passionate about building community and connecting our federal work to the issues people face every day. Gordon: I'm a Junction resident who's been a New Democrat for over twenty years, and I was active in my riding association both in my hometown of Sherbrooke and in Rosemont-Petite-Patrie in Montreal before the birth of my first child. Now that the kids are older, I'm excited to get involved again. I have a degree in economics, which I hope will be useful for this position.

Carmen: Hello! My name is Carmen and I'm running to be Volunteer Coordinator. I moved to PHP last fall after years in other parts of the city, and have really enjoyed getting to know the community here. I'm excited by the prospect of using the riding association as a tool to engage volunteers who were brought into the party over the past two elections, to keep them involved and to build out a stronger base, and to mobilize pressure around particular issues. I'm looking forward to working with the slate of party volunteers in this riding. Sorry to have missed this AGM but I'm excited to meet you all in person soon!

Hello my name is Astrid, I use they/she for my pronouns. I intend to serve in this position as someone who you can reach out to with a question, and receive an answer. Someone who can work with others to achieve, progress, and represent the best of our community.
Persons Living with Disabilities Committee Representative: Alannah Johnston (federal), Lulu Larcenciel (provincial)
Lulu: As a multiply-disabled queer woman, I am a firm believer in the power of solidarity and importance of Disability Justice. Professionally, I conduct research with disabled youth about educational and social supports. I was born and raised in the Junction: most of my family and my whole heart are in PHP. I've canvassed, done data, and organized for NDP and ONDP campaigns over the last 10 years, and served as Secretary for the ONDP PLWD Committee. I also organize consultations with MPs and the neurodivergent community. I strive to contribute meaningfully with reports, resolutions, and community outreach.
